A lower f-number lets in more light at the same shutter duration. At 14mm, this lens can open to f/4.

At the same shutter duration, f/4 admits about 2.48× as much light as f/6.3. Zooming from 14mm at f/4 to 30mm at f/6.3 reduces captured light by about 1.31 stops. You can raise ISO for output brightness, add real light, or return to a wider framing.

Each frame collects light for 1/50 second. A longer exposure collects more light and more movement.
ISO 400 changes output brightness, not incoming light. With little captured light, noise can become easier to see.
